About
Lexi Layne writes songs that feel like rituals.

The Los Angeles artist makes dark alternative metal built on theatrical instincts and a voice that moves between melody and force without warning. Her songs pull from the imagery she's drawn to — tarot, mythology, the parts of being human most people don't want to look at — and turn them into something physical. Heavy when it needs to be. Quiet when the moment calls for it.

She started young, on stages, in musical theater. The performing never stopped, but somewhere along the way the songs got darker and the production got heavier, and what came out the other side was the project she's building now. Her 2025 debut EP The High Priestess Volume I is the first chapter of that world — a body of work where each release takes its name from a tarot card and adds another layer to the story.

"Judgement" is the next card. Out May 15, 2026, produced by Kevin McCombs (Papa Roach, Story of the Year), with a music video shot on a custom-built set. It's the heaviest thing she's released, and the most personal.

The world she's building is meant to be lived in. If you're here, welcome.
